About Us 

Our team has over 40 years of experience providing complete on-site repair services for kitchen appliances as well as providing the best price for new appliances. We’re also gas safe registered carrying out repairs & installations to all types of Gas appliances. 
 
We’re proud members of DASA & WTA - the whites goods association. 
 
Our business was established in 2010 by Tom Oakley, initially working around the Ruislip area. In 2013, we relocated our office to Chalfont, where we have continued to build on our reputation for delivering high-quality service at an affordable price. 

Accredited & Approved Engineers 

We are approved contractors for many leading brands such as Beko, Rangemaster, Kenwood & Hoover to name a few. We have close relationships with them carrying out repairs under warranty. This gives us access to the latest known faults and technical information so we can have your machine up and running without any delay 
 
When installing or removing appliances, we want to make it as little hassle as possible. To ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible, our team carries professional shoe covers to wear in all customers’ homes as well as protective mats to protect your flooring from any machinery or heavy appliances. 
 
Our engineers also carry a mask and will be more than happy to wear PPE in accordance with COVID-19 guidelines. 
 

Meet the Team  

Every member of the Able Appliances team is a full-time engineer with over 10 years of experience. We pride ourselves on our professionalism and arrive at every appointment in a company sign-written vehicle. 
Tom 
 
Tom gained his Gas Safe qualification in 2014 and has since worked hard to carry out repairs and installations as well as manage administration work and everything else needed to make the business run as smoothly as possible. 
Ali 
Ali has been in the industry for 30 years but began working with Able Appliances in 2014. He is highly experienced and uses his knowledge to support and advise young engineers, training two apprentices in the past. Before joining Able Appliances, Ali worked for John Lewis as a service engineer. 
Max 
Max originally worked for Hotpoint in Italy, where he is from. He moved to the UK in 2012, where he continued his work for Hotpoint. In 2015, he joined our business, and the rest is history! Max has excellent customer service skills and years of valuable experience.
